  1. In the UK, two of the largest health charities have come out 100% in support of vaping and e-cigs. Cancer UK, and The British Heart Foundation have issued statements advocating their use as a way of stopping smoking with minimal health risks involved.
    Attempts by some governments to adopt a ‘wait and see’ approach are just a cover for them deciding how to tax these products. The taxation on cigarettes in the UK is huge, and if many people continue to quit, they will have to find those lost taxes from somewhere else.

    1. That’s too bad. I heard that the government was going to raise taxes on e-cigs here too. But also I heard from someone in the UK who said that vaping is still cheaper than their smoking habit. Do you find the same to be true for you? Is it more affordable to vape or smoke cigarettes?


      1. It is much much cheaper to vape here. Around 10% of the cost of cigarettes, once you have invested in the devices and chargers. Cigarette taxes also increased again this week, by 5%, so it is even cheaper still!
